IBS' new website launched!

IBS is a world leader in business software for trading and commodity supply. Concept and design for the new IBS website has been provided by London-based agency, Velocity Partners. Nansen has been responsible for developing the website using EPiServer CMS 5. The site has been integrated with Salesforce and Cision.

New version of Företagsamhet.se
Logotype: New version of Företagsamhet.se

Together with Söderhavet, Nansen has developed a new version of the online museum of Swedish entrepreneurship, www.foretagsamheten.se.

This version has new content, new features and a completely new design. The site is based on EPiServer CMS 5. Among the new features there is a smarter way for finding people and companies in the online museum and it is based on an updated search and tagging functionality.

Nansen creates the user interface for Comhem's OnDemand services

ComHem took help from Nansen when developing the new service, OnDemand, which has been very well received by the market. ComHem users can now choose what they want to see and when. Nansen has provided with developing the user interface for the new digital receiver as well as the server-based features. The digital boxes use middleware from Canadian Espial Evo, The server side platform is based on Java and Velocity. Nansen has also been responsible for packaging the digital box code which is sent directly to the customers digital box via ComHem’s dvbc networks.

Coop.se launched
Logotype: Coop.se launched

New coop.se has been launched! The new www.coop.se is a merge of the three previous websites Coop, MedMera and KF. Nansen has been involved in working with strategy, concept and design together with Söderhavet and Forsman & Bodenfors. The development project was carried out by Nansen on EPiServer CMS 5 Enterprise Edition and the Community Platform, EPiServer Relate+ and the search engine SiteSeeker from Euroling. Integration with MedMera’s banking and card systems have been a part of the project as well. The new website provides a platform for working more efficiently with building consumer loyalty, campaigns and inspiration.

Nansen launches Arlakartan

Together with DDB, Nansen has built Arlakartan on Arla.se. The solution is an integration of Google Maps and EPiServer CMS. Via the map, visitors can find Arla farmes in their local vicinity and learn more about the company's ecological work.

New website for Vårdförbundet

This past fall, Nansen has been working with the technical specifications for the new vårdförbundet.se. Söderhavet has created the concepts and designs. The development project is now well under way and the launch is planned for late April. The new website is based on EPiServer CMS 6 and EPiServer Relate+.

Nansen builds new website for ABF

With heavy competition for developing ABF's new website, we managed to win the contract together with XLENT and Deasign. A feasibility study has been underway during the fall and the development work began in January and will be continuing during the spring. The first launch is planned for the early summer of 2010. The new website will be based on EPiServer CMS 5 Enterprise, the Community platform Relate+, ImageVault from Meridium and SiteSeeker.

Proact has launched its new website

About a week ago Proact launched its new website. Proact is active in eight European countries and the first out was the international website, proact.eu. The site is built with EPiServer CMS 5, which has been integrated to Languagewires translation service for easy publication of content in multiple languages.

The other day Svenska Dagbladet launched its new subscription website. The web based customer service is based on EPiServer CMS 5 and has been integrated with the underlying system for newspaper distribution.

Svensk Handel's new website launched
Logotype: Svensk Handel's new website launched

Together with Söderhavet, Nansen has developed a new website for Svensk Handel. The new website is developed for the members of Svensk Handel and simplifies the login for the members giving them access to collective wage agreements and other documents linked to their memberships.

The new website is based on EPiServer CMS5 R2.

Fastighetsbyråns new website launched

Sweden's largest real estate agency, Fastighetsbyrån, has launched its new website. Nansens sister agency Söderhavet has been responsible for concept and design. Nansen was in charge of the interface and EPiServer development. The site is based on EPiServer CMS 5 in a load balanced server environment.

Gunnebo Industries

Nansen and Söderhavet have been commissioned to develop Gunnebo Industries' new websites. The websites will be based on a global framework and will coordinate web publishing between markets, business areas and brands. The IT platform will be based on EPiServer CMS 5 Enterprise Edition that will be integrated with Gunnebo Industries' product databases in Microsoft Sharepoint Server 2007 (MOSS).

MSB - a new authority

It's the year 2009 and Sweden has a brand new authority - MSB - the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency. The MSB is a new authority responsible for all work related to public safety, emergency management, and civil defence. The MSB replaces the Swedish Rescue Services Agency, the Swedish Emergency Management Agency, and the Swedish National Board of Psychological Defence all of which ceased operations and closed down on 31st December 2008.

Together with Söderhavet and Pangea Design, Nansen has created MSB's new website based on the .NET Framework and EPiServer CMS.

Bliwa foundation

Nansen is developing a web based rehabilitation guide for Bliwa Stiftelsen. The guide is a result of a research project that Bliwa Stiftelsen has conducted together with Unionen and Livsmedelsföretagen, which aims to support managers in their work for healthier employees. The rehabilitation guide is developed with Microsoft .NET Framework and EPiServer CMS 5.

Fastighetsbyrån

Along with its partner, Söderhavet, Nansen has been selected to conduct a preliminary study for a corporate web portal for Sweden's largest real-estate broker, Fastighetsbyrån. The preliminary study is performed according to Nansen’s own requirement-gathering model for the web based on Scrum. The work is carried out in three phases: analysis, concept and design and will result in a Request for Proposal describing product vision, requirements, information and interactive design including design sketches and design guidelines.

Spendrups

Sweden's leading brewery, Spendrups, has a new corporate intranet based on EPiServer CMS 5 and Microsoft.Net. The intranet’s end users have been given vast possibilities to personalize and contribute with website content and information is updated by a large number of editors in various parts of the organization. The intranet is integrated with Microsoft Active Directory (AD) and a number of internal systems and external services. Good search possibilities are provided through the integration with Google Mini.

We're pleased to welcome David Kästel to Nansen. David will be working with technical project management in our web projects. David is an experienced consultant with a background in working with EPiServer and systems development. He previously worked at Hallvarsson & Halvarsson.

New support customers for Nansen

Pricer, Tasteline and Naturvetarna are three new EPiServer customers of Nansen. In the short term, we will be providing our help with administrative matters and smaller development efforts. In the long run we will hopefully have the opportunity to contribute in new projects with everything from strategy, concept and development.

Three new certifications

Emma, Sara and Cecilia have earned the title MCPD: ASP.NET Developer 3.5 after having passed the last out of three exams. All female developers at Nansen are now MCPD's. Congratulations and good work all three!

Nansen opens Chicago office

We are very pleased and proud to announce that Nansen will be opening an office in Chicago on January 1st 2010. EPiServer opened its first office in the U.S. last spring and it feels fantastic to be part of their journey, and sell EPiServer in a new country and build skills in a different location.

Nansen at Tech·Ed Europe 2009

Once again, Nansen will be attending Microsoft Tech·Ed Europe. This year the Developer and IT Pro weeks have been merged into one single week with over 500 sessions. Nansen will be participating with Cecilia, Christer, Jonas och Leif. Follow their journey at Nansenbloggen during November 9-13.

With over 120 industry leading companies and organizations as their customers, SiteSeeker is the natural search-choice for EPiServer-based websites and intranets. The SiteSeeker module for EPiServer makes it easier to adapt searches as required, and provides direct access to SiteSeekers analysis tool in EPiServer. Nansen will be implementing SiteSeeker in the new coop.se website.

Two new co-workers

It has been a secret for a while but now it’s official. Nansen hires Emil Cardell, previously employed at Valtech, and Jenny Ney from Hallvarsson & Halvarsson.

Emil has a long experience of EPiServer Community and will be working as a technical production manager and systems architect at Nansen.

Jenny will work as an account executive and with strategy and business development on the web.

One of Nansen’s co-workers has been selected among EPiServer's finest community contributors. For some time now Joel Abramhamsson has been blogging on EPiServer World, and he can now title himself EMVP (EPiServer Most Valued Professional).

Three new cerifications

Once again, more certifications have been taken at Nansen. This time around Rudde, Markus and Cecilia passed the ASP.NET 3.5 Web Developer exam. This means that all developers at Nansen are now certified on the Microsoft .NET Framework.

Five new certifications

Emma, Sara and Jonas can now call themselves Microsoft Certified Technology Specialists (MCTS) after having passed the second of three exams. Christer and Leif who previously took the "Pro-Exam" now carries the title, MCPD: ASP.NET Developer 3.5, which will be the next step for Emma, Sara and Jonas. Congratulations and good work all five!
